Dr. Jerry Dreessen

Dr. Jerry Dreessen has lived in Lynnwood since moving here with his family as a young boy. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1988 and has practiced in the Puget Sound Area ever since. His clinic, Back To Action Chiropractic, won the "Best Chiropractic Business" Award in 2001 from the Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce.

He was born in Davenport, Iowa, where his dad and his uncle were finishing chiropractic college at Palmer. He watched with amazement the great work his dad would do with patients at their house until his dad established a practice in Lynnwood. People would come to his dad in pain, frustrated that no one had been able to help them, often coming with some skepticism and as a last resort. As Jerry watched people getting better and walking away pain free, often after just one or two adjustments, he realized that this was "his calling" too.

Dr. Dreessen's commitment to Chiropractic was strengthened by his own experiences with pain. As a senior at Lynnwood High School, a football injury left him with a debilitating headache, blurry vision and fatigue. After a cervical manipulation from his father, his foggy demeanor immediately disappeared. This firsthand experience helped confirm his desire to become a chiropractic physician.

Dr. Dreessen specialized in patients that are new to chiropractic. His focus is on helping as many people as possible regain health and reach their true health potential by allowing their bodies' natural healing ability to do it's work without interference.

Dr. Dreessen is also an excellent magician and often uses this hobby in his profession to put his younger patients at ease. In his spare time he enjoys playing Wally Ball and sailing Hobie Cats on Lake Crescent with his wife. He is very active in the community as a Chamber of Commerce member, as well as past president of the Alderwood-Terrace Rotary. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Edmonds Community College for community service. He lives in Lynnwood with his wife, Jenny, and his three children.
