Telemedicine in Mountlake Terrace

Because of the recent announcement about "shelter in place" we are in the process of setting up our TeleMedicine system for our clinic at Back To Action Chiropractic & Massage.

What This Means for You

If you are unable to come to our clinic for care, and want to Shelter in Place, call our clinic at 425-670-2600 and ask to be added to our TeleMedicine Patient Protocol.

Dr. Dreessen will get in touch with you and schedule a phone meeting with you, answer questions, assign therapeutic exercises, and schedule follow up calls to help you stay on the program he has designed for you.

From Dr. Dreessen:

"I will be calling to have you receive your care at home during the COVID Shelter at Home recommedation.

I have created a treatment plan your you, involving a home exercise program that can be don in your living room, which is easy, and you only need to write down a few things for me.

I will be speaking to you twice per week to document your care and be able to monitor your condition (neck, back, injuries, etc, etc,) while discussing and answering any questions concerning your program, nutrition, posture, biomechanics, heat vs ice, etc."

This service would then be billed as a telemedicine event, and instructions on what to do will be given to you from Dr. Dreessen

As you know, on March 23, 2020, Governor Inslee issued an Executive Order directing all residents immediately to heed current State public health directives to stay home, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure sectors and additional sectors as the State Public Health Officer may designate as critical to protect health and well-being of all Washingtonians.

In accordance with this order, the Governor has designated the following list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to help state, local, tribal, and industry partners as they work to protect communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.

It includes: Health care providers and caregivers (e.g., physicians, dentists, psychologists, mid-level practitioners, nurses and assistants, infection control and quality assurance personnel, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists and assistants, midwives and doulas attending facility-based or home-based births, alternative healthcare providers (chiropractors), social workers, speech pathologists and diagnostic and therapeutic technicians and technologists).

Our clinic will be open during regular office hours, and will be using our "parking lot waiting room" protocol. Once you have come to the clinic, call us and we'll add you to our list of patient's coming in, and call you when it's your turn. If you have a massage, you can come in and fill our your form and be taken to your massage room.

We are cleaning each adjusting table and clipboard/pen after each visit, and Dr. Dreessen and staff are using hand sanitizer between patient visits.
